Schools for Niger, Africa is one of our three main emphases at Effective Ministries, Inc. We believe providing an exemplary Christian education for potential future leaders of Niger will have a profound impact on this nation. Schools for Niger, Africa exists to build Christ-centered schools that teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and offer academic excellence. To this end, we have adopted a model school network, “A Perrin School”. This forward-thinking approach helps ensure uniformity of high learning standards across the participating schools.
Dantchandou is a village approximately a two-hour drive from the capital city of Niamey. This 98% Muslim village has benefited from a feeding and evangelism program since 2013. While children are being fed, they and their mothers sing Christian songs and learn stories from the Bible, and many have said YES to Christ as their Savior. An evangelist at MINN Church (a LiveTen24 partner) was willing to move his family to Dantchandou to plant a new church, the first and only church in the village. A parcel of land was purchased through donations to Effective Ministries, and a small shelter was erected for church meetings. Now is the time to build a permanent church structure, two rooms for the pastor and his family, and a wall to secure the property.
